To Work Or Disconnect During The Weekend?
I don’t know about you but I’m a workaholic. I inherited that trait from my father just as he did from his own.
It’s not a badge of courage or anything to be proud of really. In fact, I would opine that it’s more of a curse than it is a blessing. Working too much can have very real negative consequences such as increased stress, anxiety, and insomnia to name just a few.
When it comes to weekends the majority of people, mostly 9-5’ers and people who work away from home, avoid any and all work. They leave their work at the office where it belongs. But entrepreneurs, especially those of us who work at home, often work most if not nearly every weekend. It’s who we are.
But does disconnecting from work every weekend have advantages? Science says YES:
